If all comes to fruition, then TVS could unleash its concept Akula 310 as the Apache RTR 300 by end of this year. That’s not all, reports suggest that this monstrous bike will be priced under 2 lakh, pitting it against the likes of KTM 200.
The Akula 310 was designed and created by TVS in association with BMW. The name Akula has been inspired by the Akula-grade submarines. Akula, in Russian, means shark.
Earlier this year, TVS had said that the production ready Akula 310 (or Apache RTR 300), will have about 70 to 80 percent resemblance to the photo shown above.
The digital dash of the Akula 310 looks much smaller than what we’ve seen with most of the superbikes this year. The front handle looks humongous with all the necessary features offered.
The TVS Akula 310 has been given an ultra-light carbon fibre body work as per the company.
