Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2019 Triumph Speed Twin, adding to the modern classic line-up from this British marque. The Triumph Speed Twin is priced at Rs 9.46 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, which in comparison to Ducati or Harley Davidson pricing is fairly value for money.
The Triumph Speed Twin rivals the likes of the Harley Davidson Forty-Eight and the Ducati Scrambler. What makes it special? Here are some of the highlights of this motorcycle.
The Triumph Speed Twin is powered by a twin-cylinder, 1,200cc liquid-cooled motor that puts out 97PS of power and 112 Nm of torque with a six-speed transmission.
It also comes with a ride-by-wire throttle and offers different riding modes such as road, rain and sport. It features switchable traction control, ABS and has a slip-assist clutch.
Some of the other features on the bike include TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), immobiliser, USB charging and LED lights. The bike is completely modern, but yet sports a retro-look.
It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, with dual 305 mm discs in front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear.
The bike is available with a range of 80 accessories to customise it. It will be available in three colours to start with - red/grey, black and silver/grey.
