5. Koenigsegg Regera Goes 0-300 Km/H in 10.9 Sec; Faster Then Chiron

The 2016 Geneva Motor Show saw the unveiling of two of the most insanely powerful cars on the planet right now. It started with the Bugatti Chiron, which according to Bugatti, has a 1,500 horsepower engine and is set to create a new record in terms of being the fastest car ever.

However, within hours of that announcement, Koenigsegg unveiled the production-ready Regera which, put simply, burst Buggati’s bubble.

The top speed of Chiron is electronically limited to 420 km/h for safety purposes and there has been no announcement in terms of the actual top speed the car is capable of achieving.
