2020 All-New Mahindra Scorpio Spied Testing, Gets New Design
The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio has been spotted testing near Chennai for the first time. These camouflaged test-mule images were captured by a Tamil auto publication, Motor Vikatan. The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio has the code name Z101 and is likely to be launched in the second half of 2020.
The vehicle has been completely redesigned to meet upcoming crash test norms and safety standards. The current generation Scorpio had failed a Global NCAP crash test last year. The new one will have to meet Bharat NCAP standards, which kick off in October 2019.

MG Hector SUV Production Begins, Launch on 15 May
Production of the MG Hector SUV has begun at the company’s plant in Halol, Gujarat. This premium SUV is expected to be launched on 15 May. It will compete with the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and the Honda CR-V in the Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh price bracket.

Voice Assistants in Your Car: What Google, Alexa & Others Can Do
Voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri are here to stay and are slowly taking over most routine tasks such as turning on the lights, AC, TV or streaming music in the house. Now, they are invading the car as well.
Google already has Android Auto and Apple had CarPlay that works on most infotainment systems these days, which had basic voice assistant functionality already built in.

2019 Mini John Cooper Works Launched in India at Rs 43.5 Lakh
The BMW group in India has launched it’s hot-selling hatchback the Mini in a new avatar. Dubbed the 2019 Mini John Cooper, the car carries a price tag of Rs 43.5 lakh which also takes a CBU route to the country.
This version of the Mini is a facelift and has already been launched in the international markets. John Cooper Works or JCW is Mini’s performance division.

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Avenger Street 160 with ABS. The Avenger Street 160 is priced at Rs 82,253 ex-showroom, a price point that rivals most commuter motorcycles in the 160 cc segment such as the Honda Hornet and TVS Apache.
The Avenger Street stands out because of its cruiser styling. It’s also available in 220 cc as well. It now comes with single channel ABS on the front wheel, while the rear gets a drum brake.
