After the recent launch of the Himalayan, Royal Enfield is set to begin the fifth edition of its Tour to Nepal, starting April 25, 2016.

The company is expecting around 30 riders to embark on the 2,000 km journey, which will take around 15 days to complete. The flag off will be from Lucknow and will go through Bhairhawa, Pokhra, Kalopani, Muktinath, Tatopani, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nagarkot, Chitwana and finally back to Lucknow.

According to the company, the riders will be travelling to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, through mountain ranges, slushy off-road trails, water crossings, gravel tracks and even suspension bridges. Trips like these give a boost to the motorcycle culture in India which is still in it’s developing stages and also gives riders a platform to come together and share their riding experiences with each other.
