The Renault Duster has been one of the most preferred SUVs for the Indian car buyers ever since it was introduced in 2012. It has the widest range of specifications petrol CVT, diesel AMT, and diesel AWD options.
The latest facelift version brings freshness to the SUV with a new grille and LED headlamps with DRL. The wheels now come in R16 everest diamond cut alloy. The new edition also comes in two colours named as ‘Caspian Blue’ and ‘Mahogany Brown’.
The interiors have undergone a complete change with the all-black interiors and blue glazed seats. The steering now features with soft touch buttons along with cruise control with speed limiter.
The dashboard features a 7-inch touchscreen that comes with Media NAV Evolution, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition.
It comes with automatic climate control and an illuminated and a cooled glove box.
Powering the new Renault Duster is the dCi 1.5-liter diesel engine which offers a choice of two power outputs: 110 PS and 85 PS with a torque of 245 Nm and 200 Nm respectively.
The petrol engine is a 1.5 liter engine giving 106 PS and maximum torque of 142 Nm.
In terms of safety, the Duster comes with Anti Lock-Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, and speed alerts are standard across all versions of the latest model.
The Renault Duster has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 7,99,990 (ex-showroom), competing directly with the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza among others.
