According to reports, Maruti Suzuki has said that it will replace a suspected faulty brake in 20,427 units of it’s sub-brand, Nexa’s premium crossover, the S-Cross. The vehicles were manufactured between 20 April 2015 and 12 February 2016.
This comes on the back of the major recall of 33,098 units of Alto 800 and Alto K10 manufactured between 8 December 2014 and 18 February 2015 for defective latches on right side doors.
As the news broke, shares of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd ended at Rs 3926.85, up by Rs. 12.65 or 0.32% from its previous closing of Rs 3914.2 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
