- Maruti Suzuki India on Monday has increased the prices of its various models by upto Rs 20,000. The biggest hike is for their recently launched sub-4 meter SUV Vitara Brezza, which will cost Rs 20,000 more from now.
- Next in the list is the premium hatchback Baleno which is now dearer by Rs 10,000. Other cars will be costlier by anywhere between Rs 1,500 and Rs 5,000, as informed by the Maruti Suzuki India (MSI).
- On reasons for the hike, MSI said, “This price revision is based on factors like segment-wise demand, forex movements and strategic objectives of the company.” The hike is effective from today, it added.
