Mahindra Sales Soar: 41,590 Units Rolled Out in November

Mahindra sales increased by 21 per cent as compared to November 2014.

Mahindra & Mahindra have sold a grand total of 41,590 vehicles in the month of November, jumping the company’s sales by 21 per cent as compared to November 2014, when they sold 34,292 units.

A 36 per cent increase in the sales of passenger vehicles played a major role in the improvement of the company’s overall sales this year. The carmaker sold 19,662 passenger vehicles compared to 14,473 vehicles in the same category, last year.

The festive season, coupled with new product launches as well as moderation in interest rates, has seen the auto industry post a positive growth during the last couple of months.

The increase in sales of passenger vehicles was 23 per cent in the domestic market, the commercial vehicle sales, on the other hand, grew by 17 percent.

The improvement was recorded in M&M’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) as well. The USD 16.9 billion worth Mahindra Group sold a total of 21,717 units of Tractors as compared to 15,333 units last year.
