Mahindra has come out with a limited edition Scorpio priced at Rs 13.07 lakhs (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai without Octroi) for the BSIV compliant, two-wheel drive variant. Only 1000 units of this variant will be made.
Being a limited edition model, it comes with its own share of unique additions like new decals and a paint scheme combination of mist-silver and white.
Based on top-end S10 variant, the new Scorpio also gets gun metal alloy wheels, smoked rear headlamps, red brake callipers and turn indicators integrators in the Outside Rear-View Mirrors (ORVMs).
On the inside, faux leather seats have made their way into the Scorpio’s Adventure Edition.
The car does not get any mechanical upgrades and will continue to be powered by the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. The decision could be seen as a move to revive sales of the Scorpio, especially since a lot of new offerings have stepped into the game since it was launched, like the Hyundai’s Creta.
