Jeep in India has gone through a renaissance of sorts with its Compass SUV that was launched in 2017. But the company is not resting on its laurels just yet.
Which is why everyone’s been eyeing the reveal of the 2018 edition of the Renegade SUV, its smallest four-wheeler among all. On 6 June, we got a chance to see the global variant of the Renegade which will be India-bound somewhere in 2019.
Other than being a small-sized SUV, Renegade is also likely to be Jeep’s most-affordable SUV, which will compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Captur when it launches in the country.
So, what does the new-look, India-bound Jeep Renegade offer, and will it have enough to rival the existing quo? Here’s a look at the four-wheeler.
The front grille on the Renegade SUV is bigger now and comes in matte-grey finishing. The grille is wrapped between two LED projector headlamps, which is becoming the norm nowadays.
The indicators, as you can see above, come fitted on the fender and are white in colour now.
