The Wrangler will be offered in two variants – one with a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine generating 275 BHP of Power and 359 Nm of torque. The diesel version would be powered by 2.8-litre engine option producing 197 BHP of Power and 451 Nm of torque. The Grand Cherokee, which the brand claims to be the most awarded SUV in the world, will have two variants – Limited and SRT.

The units will initially be imported to India as completely built units, but the company is already working towards an Indian manufacturing plant, which is being setup in Ranjagaon, Pune.

The company has also announced that it’s working on a completely new SUV, which would be made in India, and will be launched by next year.
