Hyundai and Toyota vehicles are set to be more expensive in 2016.

The reasons for the price hike across both automakers’ model range are rising input costs and the weakening of the Indian Rupee in the global market.

Hyundai will be hiking the prices of its cars by up to Rs 30,000 while Toyota will be increasing the prices by up to 3 percent, effective January 1 2016.
