Ferrari has unveiled the car that will be representing the company during the 2016 Formula One Championship, named the SF16-H.
A shortened nose, a tapered rear end and an intriguing red-and-white livery are the signature features of the new SF16-H. The name refers to the hybrid powertrain, which enters its third season in the Formula One World Championship.
The car looks great but the changes are not just cosmetic. The company claims that they have upgraded the mechanics as well.
The Formula One Championship has been dominated by Mercedes-Benz in recent years and Ferrari seems to have gone past its golden-age when it used to rule the tracks.
With the SF16-H, their chances look promising. Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari’s driver, was almost half a second faster than Mercedes-Benz’s driver and reigning champion, Lewis Hamilton, during the first day of pre-season testing. Click here for the story.
