DSK Benelli has launched a fully-faired 300cc motorcycle in India priced at Rs. 3.48 lakh. The Benelli 302R is a twin-cylinder motorcycle which will compete with the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC 390.
The company says this is a track-focused sports bike. It is powered by a 300cc, twin-cylinder engine that puts out 38.26 bhp of power at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox.
The bike is equipped with ABS as standard, with front and rear disc brakes. The front features upside-down forks, and the rear has a mono-shock suspension. The bike will appeal to riding enthusiasts looking for a motorcycle that can be used as a regular commuter as well as a track-focused machine.
The riding position is fairly upright because of the low seat height. The tank is fairly bulky, and the full-fairing wraps around the liquid-cooled engine. It has a new trellis-frame chassis.
The Benelli 302R comes in three colour options – black, white and green. All the colours are dual-toned colour schemes. The company has 26 dealerships across the country.
