Bugatti is the creator of the world’s fastest production car, Veyron, and has joined hands with one of the largest yacht builders in the world – Palmer Johnson.

The result? A yacht series that looks absolutely stunning and travels fast.

Named Niniette, the series will be available in three models ranging from 42 ft to 88 ft in length. The smallest model is priced at 2 million Euros or Rs 14.5 crore.

Both Palmer Johnson and Bugatti share deeply held core values of reaching for what we cannot see, of reaching high to deliver the next unimagined experience, of always distancing ourselves from the herd.
Timur Mohamed, Owner, Palmer Johnson

Under a licence granted by Bugatti, the yacht brand Palmer Johnson has taken design cues from classic Bugatti cars like the Bugatti Type 57 C Atalante and Type 41 Royale.

The carbon fibre hull of the yacht has a prominent waistline and follows a two-tone colour scheme. The design is inspired by Palmer Johnson’s SuperSport Series yachts – a mono-hull with two sponsons that provide greater stability at high speeds and also when the yacht is anchored.

The central model in the new series is the PJ63 Niniette, with a length of 63 feet (almost 20 metres) and a beam of 20.3ft (6.2 metres). The yacht features a salon on and below deck and can accommodate up to 4 guests along with the crew cabin.

According to Palmer Johnson, the top speed of the carbon fibre yacht is 38 knots (about 70 km/h).

The boat’s sisters, the PJ42 Niniette and the PJ88 Niniette, have lengths of 42 feet (almost 13 metres) and 88 feet (almost 27 metres) respectively. The time taken to produce a Niniette is about 12 months.

The next time you want to drive a Bugatti on water, buy the Niniette yacht and try to avoid the mistake made by this ambitious (and unfortunate) gentleman from America.
