Yamaha has launched the MT-09 model in India at Rs 10.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powered by an 847cc, liquid cooled, four-stroke, in-line triple cylinder, it comes fitted with ABS and a claimed mileage of 19 km/l.
The bike looks fantastic but despite that, the people at the Yamaha pavilion were left a little bit disappointed as the MT-09’s elder sibling – the MT-10 – was expected to be launched.
The disappointment though soon turned into excitement, when John Abraham made an appearance for the company.
John Abraham has been associated with Yamaha for a long time, and the company seems to be glad about that. The actor was gifted the MT-09 at the end of the event.
