Aston Martin four wheelers have been ever-present in James Bond movies over the years, and the tradition is set to continue with the upcoming movie from the franchise as well.
The luxury supercar maker has confirmed three of its cars will feature in the, yet to be named movie, and this includes the recently announced Aston Martin Valhalla. We can’t say whether Daniel Craig will go behind the wheels on the Valhalla, or will it be the villain, driving the hyper car from Aston Martin.
In addition to the Valhalla, we’ll be seeing the DB5 and V8 feature in the upcoming movie as well.
Reports from the company suggest that the Aston Martin Valhalla will come packed with turbocharged V6 petrol engine along with a battery-electric hybrid system. And like most Aston Martin four wheelers, the company will be making only 500 units of the all-carbon fibre hyper car.
The name Valhalla comes from the hall of Odin which is referred to as an afterlife for noble warriors in Norse mythology.
The Valhalla is the latest Aston Martin hyper car to sport its name starting from the alphabet ‘V’ and the company says it will sit underneath the faster and pricier Valkyrie.
We don’t have the full details about the Valhalla for now but reports suggest it’ll carry a power of over 1000hp, justifying its tag of a hyper car and will only go into production by late 2021.
The next James Bond movie is still far away from its official release, but the auto nerds are surely going to be excited with the prospect of seeing the latest hyper car from Aston Martin showing itself on the big screen.
