After losing two games on the trot, Australian managed to win the third ODI against India by 32 runs at Ranchi on Friday, 8 March. The visitors set India a 314-run target, and then bowled them out for 281, preventing the hosts from clinching the five-match series.
And even while Australia won and Usman Khawaja took home the Man of the Match trophy, the internet couldn’t stop talking about one man and his innings – Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the talk of the town after scoring 123 off 95 balls.
Kohli reached his 41st hundred, and second in two matches, off 84 balls but after he was out at 219-6, bowled by legspinner Adam Zampa, India ran out of puff.
Here’s what the cricketers and experts from the field had to say about Kohli’s knock, that included 16 fours and a six.
