As India chased a target of 298 against Australia in the second ODI at Adelaide, captain Virat Kohli did what he does best when his team is chasing – score a century!
The ‘King of Chases’ smashed his 39th ODI century off 108 balls on Tuesday, 15 January.
Earlier, Shaun Marsh smashed his seventh hundred before India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar produced a brilliant spell in the death overs to limit Australia to 298-9 in Adelaide.
As Kohli achieved the landmark, social media was abuzz with praise for the Indian skipper, who had all but completed the job for his team.
