It’s been quite the summer Down Under for Virat Kohli. Having led India to historic series wins in both the Tests and the ODIs against Australia, the Indian captain signed off on the tour with a visit to the ongoing Australian Open along with Bollywood actor and wife Anushka Sharma.

Kohli and Sharma paid a visit to Melbourne Park on Saturday, 19 January, and the show-stopping pair posted pictures from their time out on Day 6 of the year’s first tennis Grand Slam, where they watched Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic in action, while also getting clicked with Roger Federer.

A near two-month long tour of Australia has been a decorated one for the Indian cricket team, who registered a Test series win in the country for the first time and followed the monumental victory by also claiming a bilateral ODI series Down Under for the first time.

On Friday, Sharma had taken to social media to congratulate her husband and his team on their success in the ODIs, saying: “What an unforgettable & outstanding tour it’s been! Happy to have witnessed the historic victories by the men. And so proud of you my love Virat Kohli.”

While the attention has, of course, been on the cricket, the couple have made the most of the lengthy spell in Australia. Virat and Anushka treated their fans to several pictures from across the country over the course of the tour.
