‘Dhoni For PM’: Twitter Hails MSD’s Innings Despite Loss to RCB

Twitter celebrates MS Dhoni as he single-handedly gets CSK to the cusp of yet another victory this IPL.

Chasing 162, Chennai Super Kings lost two wickets in the opening over of the second innings bowled by Dale Steyn.

Watson, Raina, du Plessis, Jadhav were all out as the team was struggling at 28/4 in 5.5 overs when MS Dhoni walked in and once again did what he’s built a career doing.

The CSK skipper smashed a 48-ball 84 as 26 runs were needed off the last over and he nearly accomplished that as well.

Needing two runs off the last ball, MS Dhoni made a run to the non-striker’s end but Shardul Thakur didn't make it into the crease in time and Parthiv Patel flipped off his bails.

CSK lost the match by one solitary run.

However, Twitter was still abuzz with praise for India’s favorite finisher.
