According to Ishwar Singh Dahiya and Mandeep Singh, the ‘double leg attack’ is the strongest point of international wrestler Sakshi Malik who scripted history by winning a bronze medal at Rio Olympics.
Malik used the technique throughout the competition and in each of her five bouts on way to the bronze medal. Despite trailing in the first period with 1-5, and with two minutes to go, she made an impressive come back with her signature move and won the bronze medal with 8-5.
