Rishabh Pant’s record-breaking hundred at Sydney – the first by an Indian wicketkeeper in Tests Down Under – has brought with it a deluge of praise on Twitter.

Pant, still only nine Tests old, brought up his second Test century as India piled on the runs on Day 2 of their fourth and final Test against Australia at Sydney.

The 21-year-old was lauded by a host of celebrated stars on social media.

Still in the early stages of his international career, Pant put himself in a league of his own among Indian wicketkeeper-batsmen. In fact, his feat of having scored Test hundreds while keeping in both Australia and England is matched only by Jeff Dujon in Test history.

But it wasn’t just his hundred which was taking Twitter by storm. Having recently been in a rib-tickling ‘babysitter’ banter with Australian captain Tim Paine, Pant’s century only served to open the floodgates for babysitting jokes.

The ‘Bharat Army’, India’s cheering squad on tours across the globe, even made a song on it!
