A photograph of a volleyball player from Mizoram breastfeeding her baby in between her match has gone viral in social media.
The player, identified as Lalventluangi, a spiker from Tuikum (Serchhip District) used the break time in between the match to feed her 7-month baby on the inauguration day of Mizoram State Games 2019,
Lalventluangi had enrolled herself in the players' camp along with her baby.
Robert Romawia Royte, a Minister of State in Mizoram and the owner of I-League club Aizawl FC, took to Twitter to share the picture
“Feeding her 7-month old baby during interval of the volleyball match at inauguration Day of Mizoram State Games ‘19,a Spiker from Tuikum(Serchhip Dist) Ms Lalventluangi expressed happiness over their victory in their first match. Salute Ms Veni” Royte wrote as caption along with the picture.
And since Royte shared the picture on social media, the internet lauded Lalventluangi for her commitment as a mother as well as an athlete.
