Rohit Sharma, on Sunday 12 May led Mumbai Indians to its fourth Indian Premier League title, defeating Chennai in a last-ball nail biter, winning the match by just one run. This was the second time Mumbai Indians have won a final by just a single run, previously beating Pune Supergiants in 2017.
The fourth MI title meant a fifth title for Rohit Sharma, who had won one IPL season with Deccan Chargers as well.
Sharma, after the match was seen celebrating with his team-mates as well as his family.
His six-month old toddler, Samaira, as always caught people’ attention more than any other celebrations.
Rohit was seen enjoying the victory with Samaira, sometimes sitting on the ground with her while sometimes lifting Samaira up in the air in a moment of joy.
Earlier, Samaira was seen in the stands with mom Ritika Sajdeh. Priyanka Chaudhary, Suresh Raina’s wife was also seen playing with Samaira in the stands, while the match was going on.
Mumbai Indians took home their fourth IPL after defeating Chennai by one run. Mumbai Indians had posted a target of 150 runs in front of Chennai who weren’t able to chase.
