Mumbai Indians’ Kieron Pollard celebrated his side’s win over KXIP in grand fashion. The stand in skipper scored a blistering 83 off 31 balls that included 3 fours and 10 sixes.
The Trinidad batsman was joined by his son, Kaiden after he received the Man of the Match award for his captain’s knock.
In a video posted by the official IPL twitter handle, the father-son duo is seen having an interesting Q&A session.
When asked by his father whether he enjoyed watching him play on the night, a shy Kaiden replied, “Many congratulations to you dad, happy birthday momma.”
To this the all rounder said, “Obviously he’s a bit shy..... and this innings is for you Jenna. Today is your day, enjoy it. Happy birthday.”
The video has been doing rounds on social media and Twitteratti was all praise for the Caribbean star who had stepped in as skipper for Rohit Sharma following the latter’s injury.
