Twitter Congratulates England for Making First WC Semis Since 1992

England have become the third team to make it to the semi-finals of 2019 World Cup.

England became the third team after Australia and India to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup with a 119-run win over New Zealand on Wednesday, 3 July.

England are now placed above New Zealand on the third spot with 12 points from 9 games while the Kiwis are at the fourth spot with 11 points from the same number of matches played.

Both England and New Zealand play their last league game on Wednesday. Four more matches remain before the semi-finals begin from 9 July.

Meanwhile, Twitter verse congratulated England on making it to the last 4. This is what they said on England’s qualification.

England’s victory also means that Pakistan’s qualification chances are almost over.
