MS Dhoni scored a brilliant 113 against Bangladesh in India’s second warm-up game much to the happiness of the Indian fans who were elated to see runs flow from his bat. He dished out a scintillating performance in the final overs of the Indian innings to power them through to 359/7 in their 50 overs.
Meanwhile, an interesting incident happened when MS Dhoni was batting during the Indian innings. In the 39th over, Dhoni asked the bowler to stop bowling midway and advised the bowler to remove his fielder who was standing in the middle of no where.
According to the on-air commentators, the Bangladesh fielder was standing at an awkward position, which was very much like a forward short catching square leg, which confused MS Dhoni.
As it turned out, the bowler listened to him and did as he said. Twitterverse, who were following the sequence of events, were quick to notice it and tweet about it as well.
Here’s what they said.
Apart from MS Dhoni, KL Rahul also scored a century. He scored 108 off 99 balls, thereby staking a claim for the much-debated number four spot.
