Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday, 26 February, reacted to the Indian Air Force’s strikes in Pakistan’s Balakot, and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir’s Chakothi and Muzaffarabad areas, destroying terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC).
Reports have suggested that 12 Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck the terror camps and dropped 1,000 kg bombs. The alleged violation by IAF comes days after the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred.
“The boys have played really well,” wrote Sehwag in a social media post.
Gambhir, too, lauded the Indian Air Force in a tweet, that read, ‘JAI HIND, IAF’. In another tweet, Gambhir said, ‘We decided the time, we decided the place and we have decided the fate.’ He tweeted using hashtags #IndiaStrikesAgain, #IndiaStrikesBack and #IndiaStrikes.
