Ahead of their second match at the ICC World Cup, the Men in Blue visited the Indian High Commissioner’s residence in London on Friday, 7 June.

The Indian cricket team got off to a winning start in the quadrennial tournament being hosted in England and Wales as they defeated South Africa by 6 wickets at Southampton.

India next play defending champions Australia at the Kennington Oval in London on Sunday, 9 June. But before that, Virat and co took some time out to make the official visit to the commissioner’s residence.

Indian cricketers Shikhar Dhawa, Bhuvneshwar Kumar among others posted photos from the event on their social media handles. ‘Suited and booted for the high commissioner's event,’ wrote Dhawan.

Pacer Bhuvi shared a photo with spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who starred in India’s campaign opener with a 4-wicket haul.

Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja also shared a photo before the official event. ‘All set for the function,’ he wrote in a post.
