PM Congratulates Shooters for Winning India’s First Medal at Asiad

Asian Games 2018: PM Narendra Modi congratulates Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar for their bronze medal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, 19 August, congratulated Indian shooters Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar for winning India’s first medal at the 2018 Asian Games.

India opened its account in the 18th Asian Games with a bronze medal after Chandela and Kumar secured third position in the rifle mixed team shooting event here today.

Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore also congratulated the athletes for their win and making India proud.
