Sacked BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke has been accused of ‘sabotaging’ the ongoing England’s tour of India, reported News 18.
Shirke allegedly called English Cricket Board President Giles Clarke to cancel the Test, ODI and T20 series between the two nations as BCCI was in steep trouble with the apex court regarding the Lodha panel recommendations at the time.
Ajay Shirke, however, denied all accusations being put against him.

BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke and President Anurag Thakur were removed from their respective posts by the Supreme Court on 2 January after their failure to bring transparency and accountability to the Indian cricket board.
The apex court also decided to initiate contempt proceedings against Anurag Thakur by seeking his response as to why he should not be held liable for obstructing the implementation of the court's directions aimed at reforming BCCI.
