Kerala Blasters were on Sunday fined Rs 6,00,000 by the All India Football Federation Disciplinary Committee for two separate incidents of 'team misconduct' and 'liability for spectator conduct' during their final Indian Super League preliminary match at Kochi on 4 December.
The fine was imposed on Kerala Blasters under the AIFF Disciplinary Code Article 53A and Article 68 respectively, an ISL release said.
Five players of Kerala Blasters were sanctioned by the Match Referee during the Hero ISL Match no 56 (vs NorthEast United FC) held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on 4th December 2016 for which AIFF Disciplinary Committee sanctioned home club Rs 2,00,000.ISL Release
The AIFF Disciplinary Committee held Kerala Blasters responsible for home fans' misconduct and damage to stadium property, sanctioning Rs 4,00,000 to the club.
The amount needs to be deposited with AIFF within ten days.
