The Kings XI Punjab made their first purchase in the IPL auction for the 2019 season by getting Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques for Rs 1 crore.
The team, which had the biggest kitty (Rs 36.2 crore) going into the auction, also bought West Indies keeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran for Rs 4.2 crore, and bowler Mohammed Shami for Rs 4.8 crore.
Their most expensive purchase till now came in the form of Varun Chakravarthy. They got the spinner from Tamil Nadu for a whopping Rs 8.4 crore.
Another big buy for Kings XI Punjab was Sam Curran. They got his for Rs 7.2 crore.
