The second edition of the Indian Sports Honour (ISH) is all set to take palce in Mumbai on Saturday, 16 February. ISH, an initiative by Virat Kohli and Sanjiv Goenka, will be felicitating and honour sportsperson for their achievements, performance and contribution to the sport.
The nominations for 11 out of 17 categories were announced on Friday evening, The nominations in each category were shortlisted by 200 journalists from the Sport Journalists Federation of India. The winners from these categories will be decided by the ISH jury, which comprises off the chairman Sanjiv Goenka, Pullela Gopichand, Abhinav Bindra, Sardar Singh, Mahesh Bhupathi, PT Usha and Anjali Bhagwat.
Apart from these 11 categories, six Popular Choice Honours, whose nominations were announced earlier. The winners in these categories will be decided by the fans, who can vote in the following categories on Twitter until 16 February 2019.
The last category of the award show is the Life Time Achievement Honour.
