Former Indian captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth turns 57 today. The opening batsman was one of the first ever to bat aggressively at the top of the order.
He top-scored (38) in India’s World Cup winning campaign in 1983.
Srikkanth was the chairman of selectors when India won the World Cup in 2011.
