On Monday, in Centurion, Virat Kohli became only the second Indian cricketer to score two centuries on the pretty unfriendly terrains that South African stadiums have to offer.

It was his 21st Test century, and as the day progressed, so did the runs in his column. However, the highlight (for Twitter users at least) seems to be the moment Virat reached the 150-run mark against the Proteas. Celebrations followed and so did a silent tribute to his wife, Anushka Sharma.

After hitting a boundary to get to the landmark, Virat took off his glove and pulled out his wedding ring that he wears on a chain around his neck, and kissed it. The television cameras were quick to relay that moment across millions of television sets in India and well, here's what followed on Twitter.

A classy way to put down the naysayers.
