India needed 17 balls on the final day of the third Test to take England's last wicket and wrap up a 203-run win on Wednesday, reducing the deficit in the five-match series to 2-1.

James Anderson (11) was caught by Ajinkya Rahane off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin after 10 minutes of play as England were bowled out for 317, having resumed on 311/9. India's victory kept the series alive heading to the fourth Test in Southampton next week.

Virat Kohli, who was named the man of the match for scoring 97 and 103 in the first and second innings, dedicated the win to the Kerala flood victims.

We as a team want to dedicate this win to the flood victims in Kerala. This is our bit we can do as the Indian cricket team. A tough time there.

When Virat Kohli was asked at the presentation ceremony whether the dismal tour of England in 2014 was a distant memory, he said he hasn’t even thought thought about his failures of that tour. The captain added that he would like to dedicate his performances in England to his wife Anushka Sharma.

I haven’t thought about the 2014 failures, but I’d like to dedicate this one to my wife who is here and keeps motivating me. She’s copped a lot in the past but she deserves the credit for this one.
