We could not pull our weight this season and we’re not very proud of how the season went for us. We’re deeply hurt by how we played and we’re deeply sorry for not living up to the expectations all the fans had from us.
Virat Kohli, RCB Captain

After 8 losses and 6 wins, Royal Challengers Bangalore finished the league stage at the sixth spot.

It’s up to the players to understand what to do about it next season. All of us were really hurt about what happened and we really want to turn things around next season. We will definitely do everything in our abilities to give you guys what you want every season. We’ll keep working hard on our game and keep improving as a side.

“We’re really grateful for your support, please keep supporting the team as you always have and next year I can promise you we will be putting more effort than we ever have for RCB and we won’t disappoint you guys,” he said.
