The countdown to the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League has begun. The mega cricket bonanza is set to unfold from 7 April with teams already gearing up for the event. The league will conclude on 27 May.
Defending champions Mumbai Indians will face two-time winners Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 7 April. MS Dhoni is at the helm of affairs in CSK and returns as the captain after the franchise’s temporary exile of two years, where they were embroiled in spot-fixing saga, from the league.

IPL 2018: How to Buy Tickets?
IPL 2018 tickets are available online on various platforms such as BookMyShow, Insider.in. You can also buy the tickets on Paytm apart from the conventional way of buying tickets from the counters.
The official IPL website and individual franchise websites can also direct you towards the right channels for buying tickets online. For instance, tickets for all Mumbai Indian matches can be purchased from the official MI website.
Tickets for Kings XI Punjab matches can be bought from Paytm (as KXIP have partnered with them) or Insider.in. Tickets for Delhi Daredevil matches can also be purchased from ticketing platform Insider.in.

Ticket Prices IPL 2018
There is a huge range of prices of IPL 11 tickets. Tickets start as low as Rs 400 and can go up to a sum as huge as Rs 26,000. The IPL 2018 ticket prices varies from franchise to franchise with each team setting their own price limits.
Mumbai Indians have set the price range between Rs 800 and Rs 8,000. Rajasthan Royals have set the starting price of their tickets at Rs 500 for matches to be played in Jaipur. KKR, for matches to be played in Eden Garden, have priced their tickets between Rs 400 and Rs 26,000.
Chennai Super Kings have set the price of tickets for home matches between Rs 1,300 and Rs 6,500.
The other teams haven’t specifically announced their ticket prices but the prices are likely to fall in the same category and range as above teams.
IPL 2018 Eliminator Tickets
The eliminator of the Indian Premier League will be played on 23 May between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The tickets of the eliminator are priced between Rs 400 and Rs 7000 and are available on BookMyShow, Insider.in and Paytm among other platforms. You can also buy tickets straight from the counters outside the stadium.
IPL 2018 Qualifier 2 Tickets
The winner of the eliminator will meet Sunrisers Hyderabad on 25 May for the Qualifier 2 match of the VIVO IPL.
The match will be played at Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata and the tickets range between Rs 400 and Rs 7000.

The final match of the Indian Premier League will be played on 27 May. Chennai Super Kings is the first team to qualify for the IPL finals. They will be joined by either Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad or Rajasthan Royals for the final match at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
There are 9 categories of tickets for the IPL final match at Wankhede Stadium. The ticket prices range from Rs 1500 to Rs 18000. The more expensive tickets are apparently sold out. However, if you wish to watch the grand finale of the IPL on 27 May from the stands, hurry up as few tickets are still available (Rs 2750 and Rs 3300).
