Chennai Super Kings is back!
After serving a two-year suspension on grounds of involvement in match-fixing, the IPL franchise is making its comeback to IPL 2018. As expected, CSK retained ‘Thala’ MS Dhoni as well as Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja for this year’s Indian Premier League season. CSK now have a salary cap of INR 47 crores and two Right to Match (RTM) cards remaining.
MS Dhoni, who is likely to lead CSK again, said the franchise would be aiming to get Ravichandran Ashwin back even, but the team didn’t bid for the India spinner on the first day of the auction.
