Just an hour before the toss of the ODI series-opener between England and South Africa, the match at Newlands has been called off after a member of the South African camp tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Cricket South Africa, the player tested positive in the scheduled test conducted on Thursday.

Players from both teams and their support staff will undergo a fresh round of tests on Friday and the series will continue depending on their outcome.
