India’s limited overs captain MS Dhoni spoke about Mohammad Shami’s comeback at the final press conference in India before the team leaves for the tour of Australia. India will play five ODIs and three T20s, starting January 12.
He said, Shami had been performing consistently before his injury. The ODI skipper added that it will be interesting to see how Shami shapes up during the series.
Dhoni also spoke about the 1000-run scorer Pranav Dhanawade (Smt KC Gandhi School). He said that he is a special kid.
The 15-year-old smacked 129 fours and 59 sixes in the two-day league game against Arya Gurukul School.
