‘Should Be Jailed for Life’: Twitter Reacts to Ram Rahim Sentence

Twitteratis were all praise for the CBI judge who pronounced the 20-year sentence

Some time after reports came in that Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was sentenced to 10-years imprisonment for raping two women – a sentence most felt was not enough – it was confirmed that the self-styled ‘godman’ was sentenced to 20-year imprisonment on two counts of rape.

Twitterati had unanimously agreed that a 10-year term was not enough.

Singh was sentenced to a 20-year jail term, 10 years for each rape case which would be served concurrently.

Finding Solace

This is some solace! Its a total of 20 years of imprisonment for Rapist Gurmeet Singh alias Ram Rahim in both the cases of rape.

The CBI judge, Justice Jagdip Singh, who pronounced the 20-year term, was lauded for delivering the verdict.
