The month of Ramzan is about spiritual reflection, improvement, and increased devotion and worship. However, it is also about a sense of community and generosity. Grocery chain Reliance Fresh decided to celebrate the festival in a unique way, with a touching advertisement that has been winning hearts all over the internet.
Promoted with the tag #ChhotiSiAchhai, the ad follows a little boy who is told by his mother that he too young to keep the traditional fast, Roza.
He does however finds a way to keep himself occupied by doing good deeds for others.
He buys his sister a chocolate, helps a grumpy, elderly gentleman with his heavy bag, and even uses his pocket money to buy his grandmother a packet of dates.
The little boy ends his day by helping his mother prepare the traditional fast-breaking meal or iftaar, reminding us that little acts of kindness can make Ramzan truly meaningful.
