India’s second lunar mission, Chandrayaan 2, is one step closer to its touchdown on the surface of the Moon. If everything goes well, the landing will take place between 1:30 am and 2:30 am on Saturday, 7 September.
Provided the landing takes place successfully, India will be the fourth country in the world to have landed on the Moon but that’s not the only amazing fact about this mission.
Chandrayaan-2 is unique given the uncommon techniques being used to get our spacecraft to the Moon and the fact that it seeks to go where nobody has before.
