Bidding Adieu
For football fans, Sunday was a heavy day. After being in-charge for almost 22 years, Arsene Wenger gave his final Premier League act in a stadium in England where Arsenal faced Huddersfield. Once the action was underway, a plane flew over the ground carrying the banner "Merci Arsene – we'll miss you.”
In the 22nd minute, the entire ground stood to applaud Wenger, whose achievements – including three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and a 49-game unbeaten run –were celebrated in a song by the travelling North London supporters. And to top it off, Arsenal won 1-0 in the 1,235th game under Wenger’s tutelage.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared that this election was going to be his last.
IPL Fever
Chennai Super Kings have sealed their spot in the IPL playoffs after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rajasthan Royals thumped Mumbai Indians by seven wickets. Jos Buttler once again continued his red-hot form with 94 not out.
This is the first win for Rajasthan Royals since 2012 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

And it gets even more absurd – the students were asked to have more buttons stitched onto their shirts to ensure that no skin is visible even through the space between the buttons.
