Ahead of the first phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections, which commences on 11 April, Congress candidates Priya Dutt and Urmila Matondkar were spotted filing their nominations from Mumbai.

Priya Dutt was accompanied by her brother Sanjay Dutt, who had earlier quashed rumours that he too would be contesting the elections. Dutt is contesting against the BJP’s Poonam Mahajan from Mumbai’s North Central constituency. Urmila Matondkar is going head to head with Gopal Shetty from the BJP for the Mumbai North seat. Maharashtra will vote in four phases - 11, 18, 23 and 29 April.
