Star gazers across the world sat back to watch a much-awaited event that occurs only once every year.

The intervening night of 12-13 August was quite the delight for star gazers. Perseid, the year’s most active meteor shower, was seen across the globe in places with no cloud cover.

As some observers put it, star gazers across the world experienced the earth going through a cloud of burning dust. NASA was on top of the coverage and here’s what we could gather from all our sources.
